Dumbest thing you did as a NUB (in General)

All the strat talk I've been doing in another thread got me thinking about some of the stupid stuff I've done with my NUB, so here's a thread for all of us to laugh at ourselves.

Dumbest thing I did as a NUB was use a Fire Familiar Tatoo as my only source of damage with a 4 minion team and I had GA fully trained on one of them. I did this for about 4 days before I actually looked at the combat logs and realized what I was doing to myself.

The dumbest thing was I started before the nub started.

When did the NUB bonus get introduced into the game?

I didn't play for the last month of my NUB, and that's when it was 4 months long.

fight a lot of battles during money wacky time instead of exp time.

Spent a buttload on seeker arrows :P

I didn't buy ba for the first week.

I didn't play my nub at all.

Jon said the NUB was active after about the first week of CB2's life.

I just think no one noticed, as it wasn't really publicised, and any bonus would have been negligable back then.

I didn't make a multi account :p

I have never had a NUB, but when I first started playing CB1, I trained DX on my mages. I hoped they would be more effective now they could dodge melee attacks :P

never bought BA

I never bought BA either, and also bought an 800k MPR (non-NUB) character less than half-way through my NUB, and used it for the rest of it.

Didn't discover that I could get free BA until two days into the game. I also over slept once and lost 160 BA. All in all I lost about 700 BA the first month, but now I'm not missing any ^.^

I just signed up for CB to see what all changed since the original version of the game died. I really didn't expect to play, so I didn't buy BA or even spend all of the natural BA for the first few days.

I wasted one month of my NUB with a horrible strategy, then started a new character.

Last couple of months of my NUB I forged, great bonus though.

I never had the NUB with its free super accelerated bonus growth.

I played the game with its slow plodding pace.

I even played CB1 with its slow plodding pace and loved every day I played. Without any stupid bonus mechanism to help me get to the top.

So to answer the question, nothing I did was stupid since I did not have the NUB. And due to the rules I can never have the NUB.

Didn't read the rules, made a second account, got reset for second account, took a one month hiatus, came back and finished with a 500k mpr char...

Forging because everyone was talking about how overpowered it was for NUBs, but I was forging my own stuff, and ended up disenchanting much of it when that came out. Oh, and a hiatus that cost me the first CB T-shirt.

I wasted 90% of my NUB because I did not have internet back then.

(Got it in 05, meaning I'm a noob everywhere I go on the net! Weee.)

Actually, the dumbest thing I did is to not start a new account when I DID get internet, not that I wasted my NUB. The above post made no sense, since it can't be dumb to physically be unable to play.

I need coffee badly.

My mistake was training and retraining MM and SG on my mage. I did it enough to make my mage (formerly largest minion) second in exp to my AS enchanter -.-

Trying to run two Characters at once/ Splitting the BA between the two.

(I still have not even forged 1 BA)

before i started running NCBs, my highest character was 200k MPR or so....

most of the motley crue here never had a N.U.B. except for a meal...

when I started CB1 in 2000... I had bolts on my long bow...duh...took me some time to figure out why I wasn't feelin the PINCH of ammo cost :)

stupid things I done at CB1 was make some uber arrows for most powerful blow...then said something in chat like watch me!! then one battled me and blew my arrows and 2m dollars up ..:(

want more Stupid things? How about loaning someone 10 million bucks in CB1 then see him get banned not paying his debts...

oh yes and then there the Bad ASh...bought CB from him then we found he was counterfeiting CB dollars and was subsequently banned...(jon repaid us our USD and took the FAKE CB dollars)

Dumbest thing I did when I had the NUB? I registered too soon so I didn't had the NUB. I wish I waited a year and then registered.
