Well, if you're in an econ clan, odds are you aren't fighting.

Had 20 fights the other day (just ran out of an item to forge) and i got a CoI :P so then I got to forge that :p *mocks everyone*
Means I've gotten HGs and CoI in probably less than 3000 fights :)
(That doesnt mean 3000 fights apart, it means 3000 fights total since drops got implemented) :P

You have just gotten lucky. As far as I know NUBs have the same amount of chance of getting a drop as anyone else.

Ditto to what Nem said. I've had about three runs of getting multiple items relatively quickly and then going 20,000 fights with nothing. Sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes Varda gives you a poo sandwich.
