grow your own food, its like growing money.

Be lazy in a smart way, work as little as needed as soon as possible to make the most of your available time, and don't ever try to "keep up with the Joneses", just enjoy life.
You do not need to be smarter than the next person just smarter than the situation you are dealing with the rest of it is optional competition.
The young person is going to think sage is delirious, as his name will clearly not be Ranger.
Invest early, and invest in yourself, live beneath your means for as long as possible.
