Whee! The proper spelling of too is listed in the poll options, but people like Jack Sparrow are still going to get it wrong. :-) (I'm not making fun of Jack Sparrow, but this demonstrates why we shouldn't be allowed to edit our own posts after we have posted).

it is unessesary, the auction page can be used for the same purpose, and is priced based on the item's worth. Auctions is a great tool, and is underrated and under used. I think the fs/wtb should be tossed, forcing people to use the auctions.

items with too low nw can be upgraded, or auctionable value decreased, characters could have a separate auction category. other things ie other game items, usd, your cats hairball that looks like elvis; too me has no place in the game, but these are just my opinions and thoughts.

Many many times it is cheaper to actually post a FS/WTB for one item then auction it. I see FS/WTB as a gift and should be used less than the auction itself

Other than that, yeah, too low. I like the idea of basing it on realms. What's 25k for someone in Gondor? 5k for a newb is fair though. Undoubtedly this would get some people complaining, but best to make the decision now if ever, at least by the time they get to the higher fees they're used to it. Besides, it's a cash sink that doesn't really hurt anyone.

I agree on them being too low. It should never be cheaper than auctions, IMHO.

But you can't do away with them all together. Not without a significant overhaul of the auction system. Bundle auctions comes to mind.

Those from CB1 will remember the fee at 10k, I think. Here, it's 5k. I think it should be upped again to encourage people to use the auctions more. It will also stop people from posting those blasted "leather rares for sale" posts :P Not much profit on those anymore (but people keep buying them out of the stores..)

Get rid of the FS/WTB forum and upgrade the Auctions to include Chars.

Maybe there may be a way of using USD in the Auction, dont know how but its a thought

I would either hope we can advertise small items like ammo or leathers in chat, or be able to make free FS/WTB Posts.

BTW: Mushu is a veteran of CB1. It's kind of like an inside joke. The choice is there if you're kind of.. in the center on the issue.

the fees stop stupid items like base whips being sold... if they were any lower the FS/WTB forum would just be full of spam. Any higher would just stop peeps from using it!!

I'm intrigued by the fact that nobody has mentioned that fact that fs/wtb is also used for trades. I can't see auctions ever being fitted to allow item bids.

If nothing else, that'll end threads about wishy-washy sellers, ignored/dropped bids, "no min, but I won't sell it that low" sellers, "guess the number in my head" sellers, etc etc.

Trades don't enter into it .. Auction for cash, and buy the item you want ..

$USD sales drop out, and that's no loss by my count.

Instas get a bit harder. That's maybe the only redeeming feature of FS/WTB.
