HA! First time ever! I think the economy is rich enough now. It used to be that 5k was soooo high.

100% too high lol

-- Bull3t F4c3

3rd?

didnt notice

-- Bull3t F4c3

Expensive

Why not free?

-- TheEvolution

Jibfest said it best...

The cost (if upped to a ridiculous amount) is just going to be passed on to the buyer. It's fine where it's at. The cost allows people to set certain limitations or open other avenues of payment that aren't available in the standard auctions.

Too high IMO.

Not 1st!

WoO!

-- Devil Burrito

dunno why this is a poll...

no one likes to pay money to try and get rid of stuff they dont want, or pay more for something they do...im suprosed everyone hasnt voted that they are too high in the hopes that they will be reduced (even though 5k is like 25 fights) ...maybe some people were confused perhaps?

Answers

A: It is not free so that FS/WTB isn't plagued with small time leather goods or other worthless items in the forum.

A: It's not too high considering most items go for at least over half a mil. each

Beef up Auctions

Give us a real market in the auctions system. Add the ability for buyers to put an outstanding bid for item types, perhaps by base value + percent of NW. Match bids and asks to set a fair and flexible market value.

It's just a messy free-for-all right now which consumes more time and effort than it should to trade a small variety of goods.

DEATH TO CENTRAL BANK!

...k, I dunno where that came from

Fee

I actually think it is fine =D but i voted it too high but its a wrong statement The fee is like a auction fee, and with no fee then auctions probably wouldnt be used at all.

-- 3D

uhhhh.....

Down with Central Bank! 5k is to low, 10k would keep a little more of the junk out of FS/WTB.

-- Chargerz-Back

Too Low

IMO, a higher listing price would keep the market from being littered with worthless items. (i.e. If the item isn't worth much more than the listing price, then it won't be worth while to post it.)

-- Matshi

hmm

didn't you have this poll awhile ago

-- WeaponX

Too high

Definitely too high. Most posts there just leave the top quickly and don't get reactions anyway.

I'm for the "free market" school of thought. So what if someone wants to sell his Light Leather Armour +10? No need to punish him for it. Wouldn't cost admins anything to just create subforums within FS/WTB for different kinds of items and thus save the problem of too many posts.

-- The Bolt Master

Soft LA +10 FS

If someone is selling leathers they should use the auction system that is in place. Please rasie the price.

-- deifeln

not bad, subfolders is a good idea...

yes, you go into for sale/wtb and then choose rare or common. once inside its broken into ranged, melee, armor, tattoos, yardsale that would make it easy to find what you are looking for. in yardsale you could sell multiple things at once, but the fee would be higher (15k) in the other it could be like 3k, but u have to sell only that item type or something. at least a rare/common subsection would be nice

-- Jason Bourne

Too Low, and here's why

FS/WTB fees are too low in my opinion because they shouldn't be used at all other than in "unusual" circumstances.
The forum is an ideal place to sell rare items that are very expensive and require things like payment plans, although to be honest with the advent of economic clans and the amount of people offering loans nowadays, there's really no need. Get the cash from one of the many banks offering loans and then purchase from auctions :p
Also, on occasion "instas" or "USD sales" are requested - this is fine, but makes up a minority of sales, and involves high end items where a levy of 25k for using the forum isn't going to be a big deal.

I'd like to see auctions becoming the no1. choice for users and would even accept the removal of auction fees to encourage people to use the thing more... this isn't about earning money for central bank.

Way too low

It just cost me around 10k to put something in auctions. How about raising the price to put a post in the FS/WTB section and also lowering the price to list something in the auctions. That could clear out some of the forums and allow people to use the auction system some more, since it would be cheaper.

-- Wasp

too low

the lower the fee will be the more people will make stupid posts of too small items to sell.

-- AdminShade

too low

Ya, I think it's too low right now, I think 20k would be a good think, or 15k. imho

-- {CB1}Lukeyman

Why charge to post?

Why not have a higher fine, stricter rules for the forum and fine those who break those rules.

From selling items that could and should be sold in auctions to highjacking threads.

Why should someone have to pay, whether it's 5K, 10K, 25K or above to make a WTB post?

-- AdminQBGentlemanLoser

Good Idea!

SoulCalibur has a great idea of the sub category. It would be simple to find what you needed and there would be no hassles!

-- {CB3}-HR22

Actually take the fees out completely, just replace them with a standardized test, that should significantly reduce the amount of unnecessary threads.

-- AdminQBVerifex

well, it would be a good idea for a sub category but i dont see y u dont just use the search for what u need, imo, FS/WTB fees r just fine

-- Butters Almighty

Just fine

I wanted to choose "Just fine as is " but that wasn't an option :-(

I don't have a problem with the FS/WTB forum or Central Bank so I didn't choose either of those either.

-- Sukotto

Uhhh...

WCH posted the sub idea first. You might wanna give credit where credit is due.

-- BrandonLP

USD post fines...

what id really like to see, is a forum with a 100k fee, where u have to post if you are selling things for USD, (this does not count supportership) this would at least tone it down a bit...

-- Jason Bourne

DOWN WITH FEES!!!!

It's too high, and central bank takes the spoils

-- Aco

Looks conclusive to me...

Almost 60% don't think it's too high :)

So, when we getting the change Jon - there's still time left in May :)

-- AdminG Beee

where is the I don't care button?
