It still gives some influence on what items will certainly spawn, or at least when the community votes for a certain item it will spawn for sure, instead of randomness of normal auctions.

Select audience

A smaller group has the power to vie for rares. Only a select audience of voters participates, and that's valuable enough to keep the Black Market. If they care enough for the item to vote, they should get select bidding.

Like I already said when camping died, Black market should be removed. Enough rares are available in auctions for everyone.

Why not keep SOME items as supporter only, and take them OUT of spawning in auction? All this spawning in auction is doing, is nerfing what benfiets we get, as supporters.

I think the Black Market has a valid reason for existing, as the item spawns don't always fit the needs of the players.

Dropping the common items from the Black Market would probably be helpful, seeing as there's absolutely zero need to waste votes on Katanas and Steel Brigandines.

requires too many votes to spawn an item and half the items aren't EVER voted for. Better to have a instant BIN for all rares in the Black Market. Prices being determined by by the market value.

The Black Market helps balance rare item value by providing players with a method to spawn rares that are in high demand. The BMVG also brings an added dimension to the community. However, it would probably be good to remove the non-rare items since they spawn to the stores anyway.

Why not just change it around a bit instead? I still wish the voting bug would be ended one way or another, although I don't want that way to be just ending the black market itself. If it seems too many rares are spawning, increase the number of votes required for items and/or decrease the spawn rate of rares. Personally I would like to see a change to where the number of votes was more representative of the item's market value, ie: Corns and expensive mage gear needing more votes.

Don't put junk on the Auction please

Having people put up items that no one is going to buy is a waste of time. You shouldn't be allowed to put your worthless junk on the auction just to get rid of it. I still see people with stuff like rapier (10X2)+2 and such on the auction I doubt that is going to be a hot seller. Their should be a limit on what you can sell on Auction.

the bl;ack market should be upgraded so that it takes less votes for an item to spawn, it should be made teasier to get the items that you want...thus increasing its worth and value to CB

Now that all rares spawn in auction, everyone, more or less, gets an equal chance. Black market allows another way to get specific items into the system. Regarding less votes, heck no. The lower the votes required, the more items there will be in the system, and thus, rare becomes less rare, IMHO.

PS. I still can't vote too. I'm a supporter but not a clan member. :(

Item Spawns

CB is missing a cruicial element. Rare items are only available to top bidders, which although it is fair to everyone, it means nobody without a big chunk of change gets any rare anymore. Which means all rares are simply aggregating to the top money makers in the game now. Which is not exactly... well.. how shall I say it... fair?

yeah, it may add more items in teh auction, but this will subsequently bring the price of items down, solving the high price....also, i am not talking about drastically, but if an item gets reduced from 110 votes to mabe 55, more people would gain items.....although this may degrade the rareness of items, people could possibly only get to vote once every 2 weeks, instead of once every week(=2 votes total)

Really? Seeing as about 99% of players who cann afford most of the rares are Supporters who can vote for them, and the other 1% happen to be in a standard clan for at least one week. Since everyone can get them when they spawn in auctions, why not just grab it then?

because i value black market at 30 cents of my supportership...if u take this away you should refund me 30 cents...lol, but really at least the black market gives the people some say on what spawns.

FALSe because it wasn't there really for the sole peerpuse of spawning rare items in auctions....it is a half reason for a bigger thing. Although rares now do spawn in auction they do so at a certain random and rare factor, while black market importanly serves in bringing to auction an item that is really needed/wanted that the randomness factor mgiht not give out, or enough and hence would produce huge souring in prices on items high on demand that are rare, black market at least stabilizes this demand vs rarity.

For anyone who wants number of votes needed raised.....

..........that already happens over time, as more users and rares come into the game more votes are then needed to spawn anything so generically upping it all at once in a huge step is extremely uneeded unlike the bug fix.
