Please Undo the WTS/WTB change. (in General)

Nothing worse than punishing all of us 'cause of some individual 's action. I can't see how we get charged 2k for even selling the smallest thing, doing raffles, trading and/ or worse. Updating the sale for 2k per piece? And more irritating about it, I imagine seeing :"CM bid for 1mil", "CM bid for 1.1mil" as you all know we don't like seeing getting outbid by CM bid from "someone". There's more into it that i can't cover all. Maybe you guys can add more. If anything let's make a poll and vote, and we shall see what happen. Please undo this change.

I'm going to have to agree here. If anything, just remove the FS part of it completely, leave it to auctions. Because sellers ( and I know this isnt a majority ) could simply say, "Oh yeah, someone already bid higher..." when in fact, you just have not bid high enough for there liking. I mean, I know sellers reserve all rights and are not required to sell their items for a price they do not like, but I just feel that people will exploit this.

I'd rather just have everything be done in auctions ( or go back to the way it was ) that way, you know there is an honest price and that there really are people bidding against you. Just my thoughts :)

If I recall correctly, FS forum always has been an evil in CB land, mostly because of the things both of you described just here.

I still have to see the new system work, with people putting more and more items in auctions instead of using forums.

And as for getting loans to be flexible, either just contact the seller if there aren't any bids on the item yet, or make a WTB thread for 2k and know that people will be looking out for it to contact you.

If it isn't changed back, can we work on a way to get raffles back? I always did like those. ^_^ I don't especially mind how it is now, except that things such as raffles are no longer possible.

The raffle thing seems easy - The powers that be could just make it known that raffles will be allowed in Off-Topic and/or Contests...

Then use auctions, they are there to sell items you know.

Exactly, auctions allows you to set a minimum bid, a BIN price, and you don't even have to worry about transfer fees, sending items or not receiving payment, it's all automatic! YAY!

I would also like to see the auctions returned to their original state. As a fairly fast developing newb, it would be impossible for me to have the equipment I currently do through utilizing the auctions.

This is exactly the way I feel.

Perhaps, FS/WTB should be renamed 'Trades.' Since the way it is now suits only item-item, or character-cash deals. Auction type sales are best done in Auctions anyways.

And expand our Auction system to include a WTB function, maybe something like User A posts (for a fee) what they wish to purchase, they include a price, User B can then sell the item to User A if they have the item User A is looking for.

Just a thought...
