Open up rentals for RoE (in General)

I know other tattoo's and runes aren't in rentals because of the auto lvling on them. However the RoE doesnt auto lvl.

In it, wiki states Does not gain levels.
It keeps its original networth and lvl. So this item can be rented out.
Some of you might think this would give an unfair advantage for just (new) supporters, but isn't that what supportership is about?

Yeah, I thought this too. It makes sense as the RoE is a supporter item that is best used on new characters just because they need to grow fast and catch up. Especially since they cost more than a mil, it's a big investment for a new user for something that doesn't help then defeat other people.

So your TSA is getting dusty? So your AoI is getting dusty? So your MS is getting dusty? Don't want to sound flamery but it's ame thing. You can rent out these in the rental system.
And don't say you guys all use your VB, TSA, MS, AoI, etc. In your strats?

This has been asked for numerous times in the past, with the argument you have used.

Apparently it is not high on Jon's to do list. So others have used the FS/WTB threads to find people willing to rent them for a week at a time. That is the beauty of the loan feature of this game.

And Vestax: yes he is trying to make a profit. Why do you have a problem with that?

Shade, myself as well as others have rented ROE's out. But we are forced to use the forums to do it.

And Henk, feel free to flame someone who makes a stupid comment in your thread.

I think it would be cool if we could rent out tattoos again, but if we don't get that, I'm okay with what we have now.

With that argument done with, here is another.

Making CB more userfriendly.

In every strat the RoE will come by. The threshold for a new player to make a post in FS/WTB (which cost cash and effort, which most new players don't have/don't wont to put in) is much higher then renting. How many new players do you see asking to rent a RoE in fs/wtb?
How many people will hang around in new player chat waiting for a new player to ask if someone has an RoE to rent out.

Jon made a post about new players. If this hasn't come out yet, userfriendly interface, should be high on his list.
It's the little things that make a difference

I have two. As I find new players willing/able to wear them, I loan them out. It's not as if I'm using them for anything myself. And I'm sure my transfer costs on sending stuff around are coming to less than $50k a week. Who can't afford that?

Finding people to assist is really no more difficult than maintaining a level of civility in the forums -- looking hard at some opportunities, overlooking others.

Having RoE's available in rentals would be very welcome for both renters and the people renting them.

As Ranger already noted, he I and some others have used the forums for them for all that while with varying success.

I agree. I have many times wanted to use a RoE, but I didn't want to spend 2k to post for one, and I didn't really want to go through the trouble of setting up the deal. It would be very nice to just be able to rent one.

The rental system is there for items to be loaned out quicker and have them more readiliy available. Allowing players to rent out RoE's from the rental system makes sense. If they didn't use the rental system, they would still rent one, it's just a matter of trawling through the forums to find it, which can sometimes be boring :P.
