NUB vs NCB (in General)

well this is like rocky fightin chuck norris

I been NUB watching...some around 45000 battles and 3m PR
with my NCB after 14k battles is barely 150k-175k PR
If I do the math when I get to 45k battles I might be 650PR. Plus I have to buy all my CB and dont have it handed to me...

TOTALLY DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE

I've been buying stuff wanting to play some more again but after I see this I know why its just freeking useless if you are an older player and want to return..the only run your gonna make is to the store for more beer. you might as well just stayed gone...
saved your money and went out and got a pro for the night

I'll figure out what I want to do...might have a lot of good stuff for sale
I see now what the big issue is...I'm slow but I eventually catch on

This is the problem with CB, to many people think things should just be handed to them without any investment and dedication.

for some reason I thought, there I go again, that the XP would be somewhere close to the NUB from an NCB..its no contest..I know why its been done like this bec Jon wants them NUBS up in all your faces...The NCB are pretty much worthless and for one who just cant give it up to dink with until he gets disgusted and starts a fire sale too

Dude... The bonus for both is the same ... Its just you not knowing how to fight at good challenge bonus... Thats supposed to be the difference between a player who has been around and knows how to do strats and one just starts the game... The only difference is they get money bonus and free ba... All of which is possible if you save long enough... The only beef i have with the system is that the bonus will just keep growing...

I have fought almost 22k battles and have about 750k MPR and 1.1 million PR. I don't ever buy BA and only burn about 80% of my natural BA. In addition I completely screwed up my NUB and started this NCB with about $12,000,000.

huh? RAWR that was a general statement not an accusation aimed at anyone particular if thats what you meant...
But who has the highest NCB? how long they been at it? how many battles?

I would like some hard facts not a theory.
And I do honestly beleive that when you see the numbers it might be more interesting than just, this is the problem or thats the problem.
and my bonus or rewards or whatever they are in the fights.
I cant win a battle that I get anything + for on the challenge bonus.
it is mostly like this -23....-16 etc etc
So the factor that I am not very good at this is acceptable and disgusting to me at the same time.

you know I did not take into account a very important factor here..I'm running 4 minions and I know they are slow...hmmmm I'm thinking now with an NCB you dont have time to run a 4 minion team.As JON says no matter how many minions you have the XP is the same...why then do 4 minion teams stay buried?

Shark I'll tell you a few things from hitting the ground on an NCB to hitting the "Dead Zone" which is where I am at right now, Takes Time, Dedication, Missing Little to no Natural BA, Buying BA, and a lot of CBD and Planning.

Bottom line shark from what I see is you planned poorly, didn't have the time to fight, and had no direction for or CBD/Items to properly start your NCB. AND despite all of this you still EXPECTED to get good results!?!?

Honestly for a person who has played before I'd say shame on you, you should know better Shark. You want someone to blame go look in the mirror and stop trying to blame the "System" for your own shortcomings it is deplorable.

I have something to say about this. I have an active NCB right now. So far I have challenged 55,458 battles. I still have a bit more than a month and a half left on my NCB run and I have 2,035,527 MPR.

Just so you know, during this run I have not spent a single CB$ towards ba, nor have I even gotten near 100% of my BA that regenerates normally. If I averaged it out I have probably been getting about 70% of my daily BA throughout this NCB run.

The main thing that will get you results for a run be it NUB or NCB is planning. If you have a good solid strat and put a little time into searching out and finding some good targets. You will grow and make a fairly good run.

There are work arounds to no money and no gear. You can rent items or you can get a loan to get started. There are also strats that require basically no money investment. A single FB mage or Single MM mage can work with no money at all. They wont be the best, but they can get fair challenge bonus down low and are overall fairly solid.

1. Elite did not hire a minion or buy any BA.

2. The amount of BA you spend affects your MPR, so you probably haven't been fighting at 100% challenge bonus.

kwai chang is my ncb which i started with four minions and ran that way till this day.

True, I've used about double amount of battles. But still, the people with 45000 battles and 3 mil mpr (perhaps give examples?) play every single day, fight the very best people they can...

If you do the same, you can do it also!

There are quite a few very powerful strategies that one can play as a NCB not requiring much in the way of NW for equipment.

That can be played with 1, 2, 3 or 4 minions and a tattoo.

Just takes time actually playing the game. Not missing BA and if you want buying BA during xp time.

The problem with the NCB is that it costs way too much to run. An NUB cost sweet nothing in cost and reaps all the benefits. Compare this with the former and you see that the only way forward is to play runescape.

I'm bored of having to dig deep in my paypal account.
I'm bored of having to search for sellers of cash.

I'm thinking that the end of my CB career is very close. Which is a shame. I thought that the NCB was a great idea on paper, allows for endless runs to the top flight. The biggest drawback is the cost. It cost me an absolute fortune to get Heroes to 3m mpr.

Please change this. Reduce financial rewards for an ncb and make the BA free to buy. This is a must.

Soon it will only be the 'new players' in the running.

I have 1.6 M MPR from 53.7k battles fought, recently I have been struggling for close to 100% challenge bonus targets. Bear in mind I prefer money time over xp time (I don't buy BA so this doesn't make a huge difference). Being in a good clan can make a big difference also buying BA in xp time increases the mpr/battles ratio quite a bit.

We are certainly at the point where even the heavies of USD spenders cannot afford to run a NCB and buy all their BA.

So we will have only "new" players with the NUB making runs at the top.

Leading to stagnation at the top with an occasional vet who buys a N*B character like myself.

However, if this is Jon and NS's goal for the game, it is what it be.

If the goal is to make the game interesting for the vets who have supported it for all these years, then things are not working well.

Shark... when you fight people that barely have a PR/score higher than your own, it's only natural to barely grow at all.
Just look at other NCBs (with almost identical bonus) that bother to find targets higher up in score (and therefore, they also get a much higher score in the process, making it easier to track), see how they are growing.

Seriously, every post of yours I have read has degrade you as a player in my eyes and i'm sure in the eyes of many others.

Honestly, i'm sure some animals could form more educated and understandable sentences.

As far as your argument:
NUB XP bonus = NCG XP bonus
Reasons why you suck:
1. The difference is NUB's get free BA and you have to pay for yours, that is most likely where the huge discrepancy is.
2. Another likely reason why you are so much lower is because you ar enot fighting as high as you could and your challenge bonus is lower then the NUB you are comparing too, therefore yielding you even less XP.
3. You also are not a member of a standard clan, which means you are losing out on a clan bonus which could be up to 15%
4. You also have only won 77% of your battles, which is pretty low for your MPR.

Ways to fix this:
1. Join a good clan
2. Fight higher and win more
3. Get a good favorites list with high CB%
4. Stop posting stupid threads and burn more BA

Of course I ran it 4 minions from the start, I like my money ^_^

I was able to run Nautilus fairly cheaply. It could have easily gotten to 6/20.
However, this was before the 20% drop in cash rewards.
