AoI question (in General)

Could someone please explain to me how it works and what items it won't work against?
Minion 1 wears AoI
Minion 2,3,4 do not
None of the minions are casting a DD
Won't the mageseeker attack minion 2, 3, 4, and then 1?
How about RoBF? Does that go 1, 2, 3, 4?
Physical will go 2, 3, 4, 1?
Just need some things cleared up, thanks!

Even RoBF?

The RBF ignores the AoI.
RoBF will go 2, 3, 4, 1 but the Mageseeker will go 1, 2, 3, 4 and DD ignores AoI.

Wiki: The following physical weapons override invisibility: Assassin's Crossbow, Enforcer's Crossbow, Mageseeker, and Sling of Death splash damage. This attribute makes using stat-draining crossbows once again viable.
I asked about the SoD a little while ago, and it doesn't override it like the other bows, but when it hits #2, the splash hits all, including#1.
Not sure about RoBF.
As a user of both a mageseeker and an RoBF, I can tell you all right now that they all follow standard physical targeting rules when no mages are in play.

Ah weird, why doesn msk not follow like a standard physical?
Oops. If none of the minions are casting a DD then yeah Msk follows the same as regular weapons.
If a nonzero DD exists, the mageseeker targets the largest. If there are no nonzero DDs, it hits the frontmost noninvisible minion. If all minions are invisible, it hits the frontmost invisible minion.

Ok great, thanks for the information! :)
RoBF is effected by Invisibility.

RoBF will flame all minions if one does damage?
AoI Info from Wiki:
* The following physical weapons override invisibility: Assassin's Crossbow, Enforcer's Crossbow, Mageseeker, and Sling of Death splash damage. This attribute makes using stat-draining crossbows once again viable.
RoBF Info from Wiki:
Melee damage is no longer applied against those who attack. It is now sent to the first Minion based on melee attacking rules (ie, invisible minions are skipped).
Now either the Wiki is wrong or it needs to be properly updated otherwise people are going to get confused.
When it says overrides invisibility, that means if the primary targeted minion type is invisible, it still targets.
Wiki is right. RoBF does not skip invisibility. Don't believe me, fight NS with an AoI.
""Now either the Wiki is wrong or it needs to be properly updated otherwise people are going to get confused.""
If you know what the real answer is then please update the Wiki to alleviate confusion. As it stands it is a bit confusing, please put it in layman's terms so everyone can understand it while your at it.
Both the wiki and the thread agree that the RoBF skips invisible minions.
I'll back up what JS says.
Not to be argumentative here but: Say and back up whatever you like gentlemen the RoBF is only one part of what I posted and was referring to. :-/ Plus just because it says something does not mean it is understood in it's entirety hence my earlier post. I hope this clears up what I was trying to say.
The following physical weapons override invisibility when targeting applicable minion types: Assassin's Crossbow, Enforcer's Crossbow, Mageseeker, and Sling of Death splash damage. This attribute makes using stat-draining crossbows once again viable.
"applicable minion types" <====Define this a Newbie will look at it with a huge question mark
and thankyou for posting this in the first place :-)
The following physical weapons override invisibility when targeting applicable minion types (e.g. Assassin's Crossbows will always target the highest DX minion, even if it is invisible): Assassin's Crossbow, Enforcer's Crossbow, Mageseeker, and Sling of Death splash damage. This attribute makes using stat-draining crossbows once again viable.

Vs Team Rocket and his RBF.
My first minion Sheep has an AoI on.
Sheep's shot went wide of Jesse James
Dog hit Jesse James with The Lunatic [327]
Meowth absorbs damage [327]
Dog burns from the flames surrounding Jesse James (1686478)
So as you can see the RBF certainly does skip an invisible minion.
