I just lent you a familiar to get you started. Be sure to click on "get more" located next to your BA. It's free for the first six months, so make good use of it. Also, you might want to switch to an active clan. Any clan that has room will likely take you, including mine -- death by jabberwocky.

Eh, not the first time. I found out from prior ones that my loaned items don't deleted along with the character, so I just have to wait a week for it to come back.
