I'd say change it back to 10/10, but still keep the original reason Jon had for changing it to 10/20 -- casual users. I think if it's back to 10/10 BA, but we have a 'BA Bank' that will hold excess BA, I think it would work. The BA in the bank would only accrue at half the rate, and only would when you have 160 normal BA. It also wouldn't count for clan points. So competitive people can have their advantage, and casual users can at least have some sort of way to kind of keep up, as opposed to before the change to 10/20. Both side are happy, no? :P

I think 10/20 is much too slow and doesn't allow for people to give dedication.

If someone is able to sacrifice more time than the next person, he should be able to. The way the BA refreshes now gives pretty much everyone a pretty easy time to burn all the way through. It shouldn't be like that in my opinion... So 20/10 or at least back to 10/10.

I prefer it the way it is. I don't have to try to get on every 3 hours, now with uni and work getting in the way, i'm still able to cope and get a decent amount done when forging or fighting.

I think it's just fine the way it is now. If the rate is sped up, at least adjust the cap accordingly so you don't have to be online every three hours...

I like the way it is but it would be nice to have some sort of daily cap instead of the 160 cap, but the daily cap would have to be based on mpr so that low guys can catch up to the uncatchables..

i think maby keep the current ba refresh rate but have special times like 1 week near christmas or something where you have unlimited ba (click fest). for example have the days between christmas and newyears be unlimited ba so we can fight as much as we want those days

Back to the old method

The current method, while nice for a casual gamer, makes it impossible for people to gain on the competition by actually playing more.

Right now, everyone who wants can burn all the BA they get. There is no real method to actually gain MPR on the competition This is making CB quite boring, at least to me. Not the chat and forum aspect but the actual gameplay aspect.

I have stated, I believe in the original thread about the BA change, that chat may become a wasteland. From what I have noticed, there are less people active in chat. The number of people in chat may be the same or more, but those actually chatting are a lot less.

It is quite easy to burn your 160 BA, leave, come back in 7 hours, burn more BA and leave. Rinse/repeat. The old method of every 3-4 hours made people actually pay attention more and IMO chat more.

I don't disagree that 10/20 makes the game a lot less fun competitively, but if it was changed back I'd probably quit because there's absolutely no way I could compete then.

The people who have more time to devote to the game could better help by fixing the game and not themselves? The current refresh rate give the 10/20 refreshers a 6-6 1/2 hour break (for me at least the actual #'s are about 5-7 hours depending on your refresh rate) before coming back and I am pretty sure a lot of people just stay on to chat anyway... or I could be mistaken. People will not be more active within the community if BA refresh is lowered I am quite sure of this they will just get on to spend their BA like they do now. Get up and get active! The sun is out today why don't you go say hello and hope that his two scoops of raisins don't land on your head. (Raisin Bran... not a threat >.>) Maybe to fix the chat problem we can require people to say like 4 lines of chat before they start using their BA? I mean we might get a lot of spam but who knows it could lead to intelligent well thought out philosophical conversions about the universe and life? or maybe just a lot of sdhfksdahfoas.

With it as is it is now you can set limits and increase the need for strategic decision making, in other words, "Do I want to forge and make my stuff for better for future battles, or do I want to fight now and increase my minions abilities?"

I like it the way it is now, with work and other commitments there is no way I could move up through the ranks on a 10/10. In fact I would probably make a demoralizing plummet down the standings.

Doesn't he realize that this *IS* a change, from the 10/10 to the 10/20, and the poll is about whether to change back, stay as is, or move to an alternative method? The BA change was just made in April, Cap'n Alzheimer's.

I'll never be top dog anyways, so although the current system gives me a legitimate chance of making the top 20, it would also be fun to have more BA to burn.

10/20 is great

however, I would like a way to accelerate a little when I am actually online. at the expense of when I am not. so maybe a way to accelerate to 5/5 or something for say 1/2 hours and down to 5/20 for the next 5 1/2 hours (which is when I would be off). actually I just came up with a better idea, how about your BA refresh depends on how much you have in the "bank" or the more you have accumulated, the slower your BA refresh, so if you log on every hour, you get "maximum" BA and if you log on once a day, you have a little less for the last say 6 hours. e.g. if you have 0-100 BA, refresh at max, 101-200 BA, refresh at 90% etc.

Burning all available BA

I think it was Ranger who said it is quite easy to burn your 160 and come back in 7 hours and start again. I wish - when I am working I have at least a 90 minute journey to work and even longer return sometimes I also only occasionally have access when I am in work so generally I am away for 11+ hours, this is why I have only managed 1 mill MPR with my current NCB. Keep it as it is but I would love to see the cap changed to something like 250.

I would prefer the 10/10 but double the BA limit to 320. I never wanted to reduce the number of clicks a player would have to do to remain competitive, I just wanted more sleep.

How about this?

Everyone starts with 10K ba and have a nub bonus of 10000000000000000% that lasts for the 10K ba? the rest of the ba ought to stay the same as now. That ought to make everyone happy.

Higher Maximum and refresh rate

Higher BA-Max then 160 would be nice ^^ if i cant play for like 8 oder 9 hours i am loosing soooo much of these nice BA's *cry* give us higher maximus or the clickfest ^^

Keep in mind... when the ba refresh was changed... rewards were also doubled... so if you want to click more to get less rewards per BA be my guest
