Thanks for all the info, had no idea that there was so much involved. Since the first time I started, I just went down the list using the arrow keys following it up with Enter. Now, actually inspecting and trying to use a viable strategy is extremely more complex then I would have thought. In addition just learning all the acronyms is a feat (since in my older age my memory goes a little more each day). All in all though I'm looking forward to becoming a long term player....Gaming On!

Do you think it would have helped you if the tutorial had mentioned that it was a good idea to inspect your opponents and compare strategies? Or out of convenience / ease, do you think you would have run down the list with Enter anyway? It's good to get insight from a player who has recently been through the tutorial experience to see where we might improve, so if you have any suggestions, please do share them.

Pro tip: Get supportorship or save up CBD to barter for it. It comes with a "favorites" fight list that makes picking targets so much better.
At low levels, your targets will change frequently, but after that, it's a must-have item.

I don't think that having inspected your opponents and compare strategies in the tutorial would have helped me personally, because I would literally have no idea what I was looking at. Also it appears that when first starting out that going down the list is actually a good strategy while you fewer than 50k. Zenai and Tal Destra have been a huge help in explaining what Iメm actually looking for when inspecting, gear, and strategies. I think the best help actually comes from other players or at least ease in understanding, since when talking to real people you can ask questions that arise while learning. Again my biggest hurdle in getting used to in game chat is use of all the acronyms which I know of course is just something you get to know in time.
I will most definitely become a supporter if not for anything but favorites.
