Thanks. So it seems that the main gameplay is Fight and the challenge is to create and train your minions such that they can defeat opponents of similar or higher power than you. Is that accurate?

correct, and early on simpler is very often better

Yes, that is pretty accurate. Joining a clan adds some extra depth, and you will be competing to be the number one clan. (Joining a clan is very recommended!!) If you have any questions, then you have a whole community here to help!! And its a good idea for you to start by clicking the "help" button and reading up on some of the general things.

Thanks everybody. I've read some of the guides and now wish I could start over and build my minion team from the ground up. Is that possible without losing my free BA for being a new user?

Wulfric, since you are in NUB status, if you untrain a skill you will get 95-98% of the exp back. So early on it's okay to retrain and try out new things, as you don't lose much. You want to have a strategy in mind (Mainly so you have the right amount of minions and the right gear) but retraining does hurt you in the NUB. (Unless you change strategies like every week. =P)
