As you all know I have for quite a while now been posting with a decent stock Welcome Message in the New Players Forum. Now I feel that it needs an upgrade and I am asking for the Communities help and offering some CBD for your Time.
Advice Assimilated into the Message 100K.

A better more thought out Intro 200K

Now I know it is not bad but I think there is something missing and well no one has all the answers so please give me your thoughts.

Some thoughts:

First, linking to nov's post doesn't do much. It has no information, and really just serves to tell the reddit people who sent them a weapon.

Second, there is a thing in the goals for getting to the wiki, so linking it isn't really necessary. I think we should link to one of the guides instead.
I actually really don't like any of the guides that are in the wiki, since many are out of date. We can work on making a good one for these purposes.

Other than that, your message is good, short and simple is always best :)

Oh, one more thing, I think that you should hyperlink the text rather than posting the full links, it looks better that way.

I was very happy when I found the "Strategies" link in the wiki. Maybe link to this as well? And tell them to stick to one of the strategies they like best? I was overwhelmed by the complexity of CB and by holding on to a strat I had something to hold on and learned by inspecting my enemies.

Persevere and endure everything. Keep in mind that this game is meant for long term play, although there are some short term plays, i.e. Tournaments. All good things come to those who wait.

dudemus: I agree with that Sentiment but in what direction to point? I battled with myself on that as well. Maybe if a Thread were Created or a specific Place in the Wiki were made I would Link it instantly!

Demi: No kidding I stayed up and extra hour trying to do just that.....I'm not an HTML person so you can see the results.....lol

Although just adding in a Clan Section could solve that right away :-)
