For information about Forging visit the appropriate page, or for a short summary:

  • x[90, 20] means heat 90 minutes, cast Viciousness, cool until the RPM goes up, heat 20 minutes, cast Tempering, Cool until the RPM goes up again.
  • + on weapons means to cast Accuracy instead of Viciousness.
  • + on armor means to cast Hardness instead of Viciousness.
  • [.., 20:30] would mean 20 minutes and 30 seconds. Same with [7:30, ..] it means 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • An asterisk * means an extra quenching needs to be done when the item says cool to touch.

Explanation about the notations of Forging Formulae:

  • x[90, 20] is the notation of a Damage Modifier Formula for Weapons, this is only an example.
  • +[80, 20] on Weapons is the notation of a to-hit Modifier Formula for Weapons, this is only an example.
  • +[100, 20] on Armor is the notation of an Armor Enchantment Modifier for Armor, this is only an example.
